Share-A-Shabbat Through a unique program called Share-a-Shabbat, several members of Jewish Family Congregation, along with the rabbi, visit a group home in Somers on the third Friday of each month. They conduct Shabbat services, provide a special dinner, and spend some time together with the residents sharing our Jewish traditions. In performing the mitzvah of sharing Shabbat, they also share a special bond with this group of developmentally disabled adults.
