Early Childhood Program

The Early Childhood Program sponsors The Parenting Center and The Center Nursery School, programs that help create a

special bond between parent and child; and help preschoolers grow socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. Bobbie Cohlan, director of the program, is a New York State certified early childhood teacher and holds a Master of Science degree in education. Additional experience comes from being the mother of three.

The Parenting Center

The parenting center offers discussion groups, parent-child workshops, parenting classes and playgroups.

The Center Nursery School

With classes for children ages two to four, The Center Nursery School provides a warm, caring environment that nurtures positive self-image, encourages creativity and fosters socialization and independence. It offers:
- Developmentally appropriate group and individual activities
- Selective teacher/child ratio
- Celebrations and activities that develop an awareness of Jewish Identity
- Active parent participation encouraged
- Beautiful, well equipped facility; warm loving family environment
- Wide variety of enrichment programs
